Central America may be world's hottest raptor migration spot. The annual southward migration of many raptors, including over a million broad-winged hawks, is referred to as the "river of raptors" and can best be seen from one small town in Mexico each fall.

Admission & Hours
Stroll along the nature trail for a self-guided tour, observe raptors in their aviaries, shop in our museum gift shop, watch a presentation of live raptors (weekends only), chat with our Wild Wings Educators about your favorite bird of prey (weekends only), read personal stories about our resident birds and how they came to live at Carolina Raptor Center, or simply relax on a wooden bench under the tree canopy.

Regular Admission

Members: FREE
Adults: $7
Seniors: $6
Students: $5
Children under 5 when accompanied by adult: FREE

Group Admission

Group Rate (15 people or more): $3.50
Group reservations must be made at least one week in advance

Hours

Monday-Saturday: 10am - 5pm
Sunday: 12pm - 5pm
Closed New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day

Note: Carolina Raptor Center is an outdoor facility. Visitors are encouraged to prepare for inclement weather.

For the protection of our resident raptors, no pets are allowed on Carolina Raptor Center premises or nature trails.
