Help Educate
The success of Carolina Raptor Center's environmental education programs depends heavily on the support of volunteers and donors. Dedicated education volunteers (docents) escort visitors along trails, explaining the mission of Carolina Raptor Center, describing the natural history of different raptor species, and delivering entertaining education presentations on weekends. Raptor ambassadors travel to exhibits and festivals in Wild Wings vans donated by Public Service of North Carolina. Local companies provide food and supplies for on-site festivals like the Halloween Hoot & Howl or Earth Day Festival.

Want to help? Attend an upcoming volunteer orientation to become a docent, or donate an item on the education wish list. With your help Carolina Raptor Center's education programs can reach more visitors and have an even greater impact on our community.
